Daily Puzzle #003 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Reptile from everyone (ALL), one (I), and a Florida player (GATOR) 

ALLIGATOR

We only have one Banish spell, so let’s figure out which letter of SWAMP to

remove. We have Possess spells, so comparing

SWAMP - ALLIGATOR

we see that the P can be an O, the M can be an L, and the S can be either R or T. So we Banish the W. Notice that we are given three Echo spells, but ALLIGATOR only has two double letters (A and L). Since the S can be changed into both an R and a T, we use one Echo spell on the S, then the four Possess spells are for S to R, S to T, M to L, and P to O. 

Use the other two Echo spells to echo the A and echo the L and we have RTAALLO.

This leaves us with two Summon spells, and one movement spell: Chaos. The Chaos spell moves every letter of the word to a new position, so we have to be sure that no letter is in its correct place before we use it. 

The only letters we need now are I and G, so we can summon them to the end of the word, giving us RTAALLOIG.

Since none of the letters are in the correct positon:

RTAALLOIG

ALLIGATOR

we can use the Chaos spell to rearrange the letters into the correct word.
