Daily Puzzle #007 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Royal woman by removing one (i) from equine (equne) and mixing (anagram) - QUEEN

Comparing the words

CROWN

QUEEN

we see that the only common letter is N. We have to Banish 2 letters, which means we will need to change the two leftover letters in CROWN to use in QUEEN. We have an Echo spell and 4 Possess spells. Since none of the letters in crown are alphabetically next to any of the letters in Queen, we will have to use 2 Possess spells on each letter to get what we need.

C can be changed to E (C to D and D to E) 

O can be changed to Q (O to P and P to Q)

So, we Banish the R and W, use the Possess spells on C and O.

Then we can use the Echo spell on the E to get the second E (EEQN)

Now, we just need to Summon the U and we have all our letters (EEQNU)

Looking at the movement spells, we have a Mirror spell and a Teleport spell. 

We use the Teleport spell on the U to move it between E and Q (EEUQN),

then we can use the Mirror spell on the EEUQ to create QUEEN.
