Daily Puzzle #012 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Fighter made from I (i)  inside broken arrow (anagram of arrow) before right ( r ) - WARRIOR

In this puzzle, we only have one Banish spell, so let’s compare the words:

SWORD

WARRIOR

We can keep the W, O, and R, and the S can be changed into an R, so we will Banish the D and use Possess on the S to create an R (RWOR).

That leaves us with one Echo spell and two Summon spells. We still need an A, an I, and another R. 

We should look at our movement spells before we continue. We have one Swap and one Teleport. Since the End word starts with W, we will most likely use the Teleport spell to move the R from the beginning of the word. It will need to go on the end, so we need to wait until we are done adding letters. This means we should use the Echo spell on the second R to get RWORR.

Now we need to summon the A and the I. The A needs to be in the position after the W, where the O is currently sitting. Since we have a Swap spell, we should summon the A so that it is in the position where the O needs to be. This means we should summon the I first (RWORRI), then summon the A (RWORRIA).

Now we can use the Swap spell to swap the O and A (RWARRIO) and finally use the Teleport spell to move the R to the end and create the word.
