Daily Puzzle #014 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Left (L) after reversed law (WAL) for barrier - WALL

In this puzzle we can see that our words do not have any letters in common

but we have three Banish spells and two Possess spells, so we need to figure out which two letters we can change into ones we need. The B can be changed into an A, and the K can be changed into an L. So we will Banish the R, I, and C (BK). Once we use the Possess spells, we have AL. 

This leaves us with an Echo spell and a Summon spell.

Since our End word has two L’s, we can use the Echo spell on the L to get ALL. Then we can summon the W, and have ALLW.

Looking at our movement spells, we have two Mirror spells. The Mirror spell reverses a group of 3 or more letters. Our word is only 4 letters, so we will have to reverse most or all of the word each time.

First, we should use Mirror on the ALL to create LLAW.

Then, we can use the other Mirror spell on the entire word (LLAW) to create the end word, WALL.
