Daily Puzzle #016 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Breakfast food from reverse flaw without the left (WAF) before a backward elf (FLE) - WAFFLE

In this puzzle we have three Banish spells, and the two words do not have any letters in common, so we need to figure out which two letters of SYRUP we can use in our End word. We have five Possess spells, so we will use two to change Y to A (Y to Z and Z to A) and two to change U to W (U to V and V to W). This means we will Banish the S, R, and P.

Once we Banish the three letters, change the Y to A, and change the U to W, we end up with AW.

We still have two Summon spells, two Echo spells, and one Possess spell. 

Since WAFFLE only has one double letter (F), we know we will need to Echo a letter and then use Possess to change one of them to something else. We need F, F, L, and E. So we will Summon an E (AWE), Echo the E (AWEE), then Possess the first E into an F (AWFE). We can then use the second Echo on the F to get AWFFE. We can then Summon the L and get AWFFEL. 

For movement, we have two Swap spells left. We use one to swap the A and W (WAFFEL). Finally, we use the second Swap spell to swap the E and L, giving us the End word WAFFLE.
