Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Shelled creature from messy lure (anagram of LURE) with test clothes (TT in the anagram) - TURTLE

In this puzzle, we have no Summon spells, so we will need to use the letters of SHELL to create the End word. First, let’s figure out which two letters to Banish with our two Banish spells:

SHELL

TURTLE

The words have E and L in common, and the S can be changed to a T or an R, so let’s keep it and Banish the H and an L. This gives us SEL.

Since the E and L shouldn’t be changed, we will have to use the S to create the remaining letters T, U, R, and T using the remaining letter spells we have available: 3 Echo spells and 3 Possess spells.

Start by using Echo on the S (SSEL), then use Possess to change the first S into a T (TSEL) and another Possess to change the second S into an R (TREL). Then Echo the T (TTREL), and use the last Possess spell to change the second T into a U (TUREL). With the last Echo spell, Echo the T again to get TTUREL.

Our movement spells are one Teleport spell and one Mirror spell. We can see that the EL is backwards and will need the Mirror spell. Remember that you have to have at least 3 letters to reverse, so we use our Teleport spell to move the first T to the end of the word (TURELT), then we can use the Mirror spell on the ELT. This gives us our end word, TURTLE.
