Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: A young male (BOY) following (after) bovine (COW) gives a ranch worker - COWBOY

We can start by deciding which four letters to Banish. Comparing

SADDLE and COWBOY, we can see there are no common letters. However, we can change the A into a Y (A to Z and Z to Y)  using two Possess spells or a B using one, and we can change a D into a C. So, let’s Banish S, D, L, and E. This gives us AD.

Since the A can make two letters we need, let’s Echo the A (AAD), then change the first A into a Y (ZAD, then YAD), then change the other A into a B (YBD). We can go ahead and use our last Possess spell here to change the D into a C (YBC).

We have two Summon spells and one Echo spell left, and we still need O, O, and W. So let’s Summon an O (YBCO), then Echo it (YBCOO), then Summon the W (YBCOOW).

Now we have all of our letters. Our movement spells are two Swap spells and a Mirror spell.

First, let’s swap the Y and W to get the Y to the end of the word (WBCOOY). Then we can Swap the B and the first O to get WOCBOY.

Finally, we can use our Mirror spell to reverse the first three letters (WOC) to create the word COWBOY.
