Daily Puzzle #025 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Meal appears when RED INN is renovated (anagram) - DINNER

In this puzzle, we have no Banish spells, so we will have to find a way to use all of the letters in FORK to make DINNER. The only letter in common is the R, so let’s look at how we can change the other letters with our four Possess spells.

First, we can use one Possess spell to change the F into an E (EORK). Then, we can change the O into an N (ENRK). The last two Possess spells can be used to change the K into an I: K to J (ENRJ) and J to I (ENRI).

We still need another N and a D. Since our last two letter spells are Echo and Summon, we can Echo the N (ENNRI) and Summon the D (ENNIRD). 

Our movement spells are one Teleport spell, and one Mirror spell. 

First, let’s Teleport the R to the beginning so the target word is written backwards (RENNID).

Finally, use the Mirror spell to reverse the entire word and create DINNER.
