Daily Puzzle #027 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: FATES BARK wildly (anagram) for morning fare - BREAKFAST

The first thing we notice in this puzzle is that there are no Banish spells to use, so we must find a way to use all of the letters of CEREAL. The common letters are E, R, and A, so we will need to change the C, E, and L.

Let’s first use Possess to change the C to a B (BEREAL), then change the second E to an F (BERFAL). The L can be changed into a K (BERFAK).

This leaves us with two Echo spells, one more Possess spell, and one Summon spell to create and A, S, and T.

First, let’s use one Echo spell on the A to create the other A (BERFAAK). We can now use the Summon/Echo/Possess combo to make the ST on the end of the word. Summon the S (BERFAAKS), echo it (BERFAAKSS), and use Possess on the second S to create the T (BERFAAKST).

Now that we have all of our letters, we need to figure out how to use the three Swap spells to create the End word.

First, Swap the E and R to get BREFAAKST. Then, Swap the F and second A to get BREAAFKST. Finally, Swap the second A and K to get BREAKFAST.
