Daily Puzzle #030 - Solution

Keep in mind that many puzzles have more than one correct solution.

Spells can ultimately be used in a different order and get the same result.

As long as your solution follows the spell rules, uses all of the given spells, and creates the correct ending word, your solution is correct even if it doesn’t match the printed solution exactly.

End word: Swimmer found in fjorD, I VERified - DIVER

We have two Banish spells, so we will need to use three of the letters from SCUBA to create DIVER. Since there are no letters in common, we need to keep the ones that can be changed.

First, Banish the B (SCUA) and the A (SCU).

Then we can use three Possess spells to change the S to R (RCU), the C to D (RDU), and the U to V (RDV).

We still have one Summon spell, one Echo spell, and one Possess spell, and we need an I and an E to complete the word.

Since the word DIVER has no double letters, we will use the Echo and Possess spells together. We can do this with the D/E. So, use Echo on the D (RDDV), then use Possess to change one D into an E (REDV). Then use the Summon spell to add an I (REDVI)

Our available movement spells are Teleport and Mirror.

Use Teleport to move the D to the end of the word (REVID).

Finally, use the Mirror spell to reverse the entire word and get DIVER.
